Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy DigitalHUT products, installation or service from DigitalHUT Automations Pvt Ltd ("DigitalHUT", "we", "us"), whether through a quotation, a purchase order, this website or a payment link. Your quotation or price list may add terms of its own; where they differ, the quotation or price list applies.

1. Quotations and orders

• A quotation shows the products, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes and its own validity date. Prices and offers are valid only until that date.
• Your order is confirmed when we receive your purchase order (or online acceptance) together with the advance payment.
• Touch panel colour and finish cannot be changed once you have finalised them, because panels are made to order.
• Product pictures are for illustration. The product you receive may differ slightly because of product improvements.

2. Prices and taxes

• Prices are in Indian rupees. GST is charged extra at the rate that applies to each product or service and is shown separately on the invoice.
• Packing and forwarding, courier, wiring, and router or mesh-network set-up are charged extra when needed, as stated in your quotation.

3. Payment

• Projects (supply and installation): 30% advance with the purchase order, at least 50% more before 15 days of installation, and the balance 20% at installation, unless your quotation says otherwise.
• Dealer and trade orders from the price list: 100% advance with the purchase order.
• You can pay by bank transfer, UPI or the secure online payment link we send. A payment counts once it reaches our account; we send a receipt for every payment.

4. Delivery and installation

Delivery times, site readiness and installation are explained in Delivery & installation. Internet and all electrical provisions at site must be ready before the installation date.

5. Cancellation and refunds

The advance is not refundable once an order is confirmed. See Refunds & cancellation for the full policy and the cases in which we do refund.

6. Warranty

Warranty runs from the date of the invoice:

We repair or replace a product that fails in normal use during its warranty. Warranty does not cover damage from wrong wiring by others, voltage surges, water, physical damage, or opening or repairing the product yourself. Installation includes AMC for the first month; AMC after that can be bought separately.

7. Ownership and risk

Products stay the property of DigitalHUT until they are paid for in full. Risk passes to you when the products are delivered to your site.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control such as natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption or government action.

9. Disputes

Please raise any problem with us first through a service request or the contact details below, and we will try to resolve it quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

10. Reviews, photos and your feedback

We love sharing what our clients say. When you accept a quotation you can tick one box to let us publish, on the DigitalHUT website and our social media pages:

• your feedback, ratings and reviews about DigitalHUT — whether you write them in our feedback form or send them to us on WhatsApp, Google, Justdial, social media, email, by phone or in person — shown with your first name and city; and
• photos and videos of the finished DigitalHUT installation in your home, without people and without your address, society or building name, or flat number.

You give this once — we will not ask again for each review. It is optional, it never affects your order, warranty or service, and you can change or withdraw it at any time from the consent link we send you or by writing to info@digitalhut.homes. After you withdraw, we take your reviews and photos off our website within 7 days and off our own social media within 30 days. We publish your words as you wrote them (we may shorten them, but never change their meaning) and never publish your phone number, email or address.

Anything more — photos or videos with you or your family in them, a recorded video testimonial or home tour, paid advertisements, or a feature in the DigitalHUT magazine or other print — needs your separate consent on our media consent form, where you choose exactly what is allowed.
